You may remember Aubrey and Brody’s story from last summer when we captured their engagement photos on the beach. High school sweethearts who are now a military couple.

The military is something so close to my heart. Many of my family members as well as myself have served which has given me a deeper appreciation for sacrifice and service. It’s not easy, sacrificing time and enduring distance but these two, have a love that knows no bounds. In the year that I have known them, they have moved across the country, got a dog and planned a wedding that would take place a thousand miles away from where they live. When I was visiting with my grandparents yesterday they asked about the couple whose wedding photos I posted on Facebook this weekend. I told them they are the cutest high school sweethearts who have been together many years but still smile at each other like their meeting for the first time. My grandma responded by telling me thats much like them, they’ve been together for 50 years and still hold hands under the blankets when they go to bed. That kind of love is rare and I’m so lucky to have captured it for Aubrey and Brody. I pray that when they have been together 50 years, they are looking back on their wedding album, holding hands and feeling the same way they felt in these photos.
