Champagne, Canoes and fall colors…

Their first date was on New Years Eve, dancing and sipping champagne. Every year since, they celebrate their anniversary on New Years Eve complete with a champagne toast so it only made since that we included a champagne toast during their engagement photos, right?! This past summer Tyler proposed to Corrie at the Grandma’s Marathon finish line in front of family and friends. That’s right, they ran a marathon together and he proposed at the end. SO SWEET.

Corrie and Tyler’s engagement session took place in Northern Wisconsin at her family owned property along a small lake. They brought along their pup who was so sweet and playful, even smiling for a few of their photos. Towards the end of the session this adorable couple braved the cold to jump in a canoe, pop champagne and celebrate their love. We captured a few shots before the fear of falling in the lake took over, making their way to sit by the fire. The snuggled by the fire to warm up and we talked about wedding details.

Corrie and Tyler will be celebrating their marriage with a winter wedding next year, complete with sparkles and champagne of course!
