Dana was sitting in the bridal suite when I arrived, sipping champagne with her bridesmaids in vibrant, tropical patterned robes. Her hair was curled and makeup was being applied when I asked her how she was doing and she replied that she was nervous but so excited to be married. For over a year, Dana had been planning her wedding day and she couldn’t wait to be Mrs. Rhodes.

Every detail was beautiful! Especially Dana’s Allure dress that was draped in three different shades of ivory. The square centerpieces were made by Caleb and crafted from her grandfathers old barn wood. The wedding accent color was navy blue to symbolize Dana’s passion for her career as a Duluth Police Officer.

Caleb was looking out at the lake and anxiously waiting for their first look as I was walking Dana down to the beach to meet him. Halfway down the path we realized that her adorable lace shoes were probably going to dirty, so she slipped them off, I grabbed her dress and we adventured to meet her soon to be husband. Standing barefoot on the rocks, Dana was all smiles seeing her soon to be husband and the way he makes her laugh? Its the perfect match.

Dana and Caleb, thank you for trusting me with the biggest day of your life together! Cheers to a lifetime of love and laughing! 🙂
