Kaitlin + Larry | Greysolon Moorish Room Wedding

Last winter I met with Larry and Kaitlin at the Tobie’s cafe off of the Hinkley exit. The fact that we had a meeting surprised me because I was completely upfront with them about not knowing much about Star Wars. Those of you reading this may be thinking you don’t either but if you’re friends with Larry and Kaitlin you may have gasped because of how much they love it. In fact they love it so much it was tied into the small details of their wedding day which turned out amazing! Not too Darth Vader like you may be thinking, check out the beautiful invites and cake topper below! So as you may have guessed, they chose me to capture their day and I’ve loved getting to know them both.

With everyone sitting quietly in the Moorish Room, the DJ pulled Larry and Kaitlin up in front of their guests while he told their love story. The story begins with meeting in the lab at work and went on to tell about how Larry’s secret proposal plans were almost ruined in an airport on the way to Germany. Don’t worry, he pulled it off by getting the ring through security so Kaitlin didn’t know about it and got down on one knee while over looking a castle! Dreamy, right?!  The story ended with the DJ reading what each of them had wrote about each other and I’m not sure there was a dry eye in the room. (At least there wasn’t behind my camera!)

I’m SO excited for these two! Cheers to marriage, adventures and a love that lasts forever!
