I am so excited to share this intimate Duluth Wedding! Brittany and Jesse just celebrated their first wedding anniversary! Their wedding day was extra special as they got married at their home church in Duluth. Jesse’s father is actually the pastor there. Having his father as the officiant was a very meaningful part of their ceremony. Their relationship with God has been remarkably important to both of them and their faith has been at the center of their relationship. Their ceremony was enduring to watch as their close family and friends witnessed them become husband and wife!

This wedding was significant for me because Brittany is my children’s nanny! She feels like family, so I was thrilled to photograph her big day. These two were ecstatic to marry one another! Brittany had a wedding day countdown going and she would always update me when she would come to work!

Jesse and Brittany had been friends for years, but during a mission trip to Houston, Texas, they grew their friendship even closer and fell in love while there. Brittany claims it was a total God thing!. Jesse took Brittany to their favorite restaurant and afterward, they went to The Lighthouse in Canal Park. Jesse had rose petals and candles set up and he asked Brittany to marry him and spend the rest of their lives together!

Before the ceremony, Brittany shared a first look with her dad. His face lit up the room as he saw his beautiful daughter! The groomsmen prayed over Jesse and the bridesmaids prayed over Brittany before sending their beloved friends to the altar to become one. During the ceremony they chose to do a unity ceremony and braided the cord of three strands.

They took their honeymoon to Orlando, Florida. They spent time relaxing poolside, exploring the Orlando area, and even spent a day at Magic Kingdom in Disney World! She said it was perfect!! They also got to enjoy their first dance as a married couple while on their honeymoon.
