Hey you makeup lovers.

One year ago I jumped on the “ipsy” train with minimal expectations. I figured that for $10 what was the worst that could happen? I mean lets be honest ladies, most of us spend close to $10 on a Starbucks coffee. Of course all these beautiful girls were posting their Ipsy bags and I was super intrigued. For only $10 a month these girls were getting way more than $10 in makeup.

This is my one year review with Ipsy for all you ladies that are on the fence about trying it out.

Ipsy is a subscription that costs $10/month. Each month you receive this pretty pink package with 5 beauty products in it. Some of these products are sample sized but the majority are full sized items. You also receive a cute travel sized bag with your products in it. I usually use mine to organize my purse and keep all my chapsticks and glosses in one spot.

As I am skimming through my makeup drawer I can honestly say that I use a lot of my makeup from Ipsy. What I have been most impressed with is the amount of product they give you, and the hair products never disappoint. Last month I received a Living Proof dry shampoo that I’m obsessed with, when I was shopping at Ulta I noticed that same sized product went for $12! And I had 4 other products in my bag that month. You get so much for your money!

Granted you have NO idea what your getting and you don’t get to choose but I can promise you that you will not be disappointed. It’s such a fun way to try makeup from top brands like It cosmetics, Moroccan Oil and Smashbox, but you also get to try new brands you may fall in love with!
