Leyka and Anthony are both such fun and genuine people. They are from Florida which gave us so much to talk about! We chatted about the wedding details, growing up in Florida and their plans to build a house. It was like we had been friends for years. I do believe our first meeting went until the restaurant closed.
Anthony planned the perfect proposal on a sandbar by is home in Florida. As the proposal date inched closer he realized that he had mixed up the high and low tides. Proposing on the sandbar would put them underwater. (snorkel gear, anyone?!) So he built a dock and added a table, chairs and a grill. He convinced Leyka they were going out on the water for his birthday. When they arrived at the dock she saw it was set for just the two of them. After the proposal, they took a boat back to shore to celebrate. (What a story, huh?!)
Last friday Leyka and Anthony tied the knot, becoming Mr. & Mrs. Kolar. Family and friends traveled thousands of miles to join these two and celebrate the beginning of a beautiful marriage. Leyka wore a veil that has been worn by both of his sisters, he custom designed her rings and their first look along the river was so intimate. The reception was at the Moose Valley Farm in Duluth Minnesota. The barn was beautifully decorated with a rustic feel. The evening was busy with yard games, epic dance moves and a sparkler exit.
Leyka and Anthony, your day was beautiful and I just know your marriage is going to be even better.
